Our Ministry

Bob didn’t know if there was a God, until the Lord surprised him with His Love at age 32, healing a FIVE INCH hole in a patient’s neck overnight. Signs and wonders have followed him since then.
He retired from the U. S. Army as a Colonel, and his military career included: Director Ear Nose Throat (ENT) Surgery Training Program, Deputy Commander of a Hospital, Director of Outpatient Clinics, and ENT Consultant to the Health Services Command (Command overseeing all the Army Health Services in the US).
He has been a teacher of Surgery at several University Schools of Medicine including: London, Case Western Reserve, Johns Hopkins, and Maryland.

Julie is our ministry “Community Organizer” in the best sense of that phrase.

She actively prays for healings at many different healing settings, such as the local church, at Miracle Healing Services, and often on the phone, seeing the Lord do wonderful things. She coordinates ongoing Ministry Team training and arranges future events.

Julie follows up with as many as possible of those who indicated a healing at a healing service and also those who contact us later. This is an effort to be as accurate as possible about what the Lord has done.

Bob and Julie are liaisons for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in the Baltimore Archdiocese.

Most Reverend William Lori, Catholic Archbishop of Baltimore, MD is supportive of this healing ministry.
Although its roots are Catholic, from the beginning the intent has been for this ministry to be ecumenical. Miracle Healing Services have been conducted in both Catholic and Protestant churches, and there is a hope to bring the Lord’s Healing Love to the needy who might never think of coming to a church. To promote this ministry, Archbishop Lori said, “As believers in the Holy Trinity, we are able to see the power of God’s love and the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives through the many signs and wonders that are in our midst.”

Approximately 35 people comprise the Miracle Healing Ministry Team

Members of the Miracle Healing Ministry Team selflessly contribute their time and energy to see the Lord’s healing for their brothers and sisters, at events and ongoing training meetings.

Healing and Keeping Prayer

“Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me. I thank you for sending your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free. I trust in your power and grace that sustain and restore me.
Loving Father, touch me now with your healing hands, for I believe that your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit. Cover me with the most precious blood of your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Cast out anything that should not be in me. Root out any unhealthy and abnormal cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection by the power of Jesus’ precious blood.
Let the fire of your healing love pass through my entire body to heal and make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the way you created it to function. Touch also my mind and my emotion, even the deepest recesses of my heart.
Heal the hurts and pains and all the wounds that I have in my life. Saturate my entire being with your presence, love, joy, and peace and draw me ever closer to you every moment of my life. And Father, fill me with your Holy Spirit and empower me to do your works so that my life will bring glory and honor to your holy name. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.”

Understanding Miracles and Mighty Deeds

If everyone knows a supernatural intervention miracle is needed, and it happens, many would say, “Yes! that is a miracle”. In getting to that situation, normally there has been a long time of unrelenting symptoms, especially if traditional medical treatments have failed with gloomy medical science expectations.

Mary Healy, PhD, in her book Healing, states that Webster’s Dictionary definition points to the traditional understanding of “an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs.”  She explains that a new, very limited meaning of the word miracle has crept into our culture that stems from David Hume, an 18th century skeptic who did not believe in miracles.  He created his own definition as a “transgression of a law of nature”, because he embraced the “Enlightenment” (non-Christian) view of the world as a self-contained thing where no outside force, including God, can influence anything. In essence that world-view never allows for any miracles.

In the Judeo-Christian view, not only can God influence world events, but there are many examples that He does so. Scripture is filled with divine interventions.  Healy points out that the term miracle has a different meaning in Scripture and the Tradition of the Church. The Greek word for miracle is dynameis meaning “deeds of power”. Mighty deeds in the scriptural sense can involve either natural or supernatural methods. She also co-authored The Spiritual Gifts Handbook: Using Your Gifts to Build the Kingdom. That book sheds further light upon where spiritual gifts fit in Normal Christianity.

Dr. Healy’s excellent teaching on healing is also recorded in a YouTube video.
